Ki Léonce has an academic background in cultural heritage management with a double experience in the management of intangible and tangible cultural heritage. He is currently a Lecturer at the Joseph KI-Zerbo University of Burkina Faso and is responsible for the inscription and management of Burkinabe properties inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. KI Léonce is also the Executive Secretary of the Association for the Safeguarding of Masks (NGO accredited by the 2003 Convention). On behalf of the association, he sits on the Evaluation Body for the 2019 to 2022 cycles. Having participated in the implementation of the ICH inventory project in Burkina Faso as a member of the steering committee and trainer of national facilitators, he has extensive experience in participatory methods for safeguarding ICH.
