Ms. Rahma MIRI is an anthropologist by training, she holds a postgraduate diploma from the National Institute of Archaeological and Heritage Sciences. During her career, she has held several positions in the Moroccan Ministry of Culture - Directorate of Cultural Heritage - since 1993, including head of department of the inventory of intangible heritage for nine years. She was in charge of the implementation of the 2003 Convention at the national level and coordinated the preparation of several nomination files for inscription on UNESCO’s ICH.
