From #CRES2018 to #WHEC2022
This priority aims at promoting consensus among the actors of the III Regional Conference on Higher Education (CRES 2018) to ensure that its principles and guidelines are implemented in a coordinated manner.
The following activities are envisaged:
- Convene, in conjunction with other organizations and networks, a Regional Forum on Higher Education Policies that provides for a follow-up exercise of the CRES 2018 Action Plan, taking into account the contributions from the different monitoring mechanisms in place to prepare the region’s contributions to the next World Conference on Higher Education, scheduled for 2022.
- Create a concerted mechanism with the main actors and, in particular, with higher education networks, to prioritize two thematic guidelines from the CRES 2018 Action Plan, in a five-year action plan recommended for institutions, agencies, networks, national governments and international organizations.
