Our themes: our priorities in action
Together with our members and partners, we identify the UNESCO themes that are of interest in Canada. Three themes shape all of our efforts in Canada and internationally. Each theme includes a series of initiatives and reflects the action areas of our networks.

We promote supportive, inclusive and equitable communities for all in the interests of lasting peace in the world.

Our Networks: Mobilization in Action
Our networks mobilize millions of Canadians and help create a more inclusive and sustainable world. Each network’s initiatives pursue priority themes set by the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, and have a dynamic, transformative and inspiring effect on Canadians.
