In celebration of the third International Day for Universal Access to Information

On Thursday, 27 September 2018 in Tunis, Tunisia, the International Programme for the Development of Communication (IPDC) will host the third whole-day event 'IPDCtalks: Good Laws and Practices for Open Societies: Powering Sustainable Development with Access to Information'. 

The 'IPDCtalks' will be held to highlight and elaborate on the importance of access to information for all sustainable development efforts around the world. It consists of a series of attractive and dynamic talks from global public and community leaders, journalists, NGOs, policymakers and digital pioneers. The 2018 IPDC Talks will provide a platform for different societal actors to highlight concrete examples of innovative and creative access to information-initiatives that facilitate public engagement and progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
