Lao PDR’s ICT-based Education Responses to COVID-19

In Lao PDR, in light of the education crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic UNESCO’s Capacity Development for Education (CapED) Programme is analyzing national and teacher ICT readiness and is supporting teachers by strengthening their skills in distance teaching. The Programme is also helping the Government develop national ICT Competency Standards for Teachers and is assisting in incorporating these into teacher training curricula.
