The Operational Guidelines for the implementation of the World Heritage Convention are now available in Portuguese.

The Operational Guidelines define specific criteria for the inscription of sites on the World Heritage List as well as for the provision of international assistance under the World Heritage Fund. They were revised in 2007 by the World Heritage Committee at its 31st Session in Christchurch, New Zealand, to reflect new concepts, knowledge and experience.
