Since 2019, Areguá is a UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art in Paraguay. Known as one of the three key pottery cities of Paraguay, the city is also known for offering a great range of popular arts including music and dance notably. To celebrate World Friendship Day, the city organized ‘Loma Virtual International Festival’ that brought together local artists and musicians to perform from the most outstanding landscapes of the city.
