Complaints related to the alleged violation of the 1972 World Heritage Convention and its Operational Guidelines

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

Please find below a short description of steps to be taken should you wish to lodge a complaint related to the alleged violation of the 1972 World Heritage Convention and its Operational Guidelines.
 
All complaints from citizens/local community  alleging the destruction of or damage to the World Heritage property in Uzbekistan are to be sent directly in English to the World Heritage Centre by using the form on our website  (https://whc.unesco.org/en/world-heritage-centre/, please push the bottom Contact Us)

Queries from the local and national authorities, including those from the managing authorities of the World Heritage properties are to be sent to the World Heritage Centre through the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan (e-mail: madaniyat.devon@exat.uz, phone: +99871 2564472) or the National Commission of Uzbekistan for UNESCO (phone: +99871 2055006, +99895 1933412, e-mails: info@unesco.uz, unesconatcom@umail.uz, fax: +99871 2670538).
