UNESCO Jakarta Office, as the Regional Science Bureau for Asia and the Pacific in collaboration with AEESEAP (Association for Engineering Education in Southeast Asia and the Pacific) and the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII) are pleased to invite you to a special event dedicated to World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development on 4 March from 11:00 to 13:00 Jakarta time.

This will start with an introduction session for UNESCO-AEESEAP-PII joint publication and the proposal for a digital platform for Regional Collaboration of Engineers and will be followed by a discussion on regional trends, challenges and approaches in engineering education for sustainable development, as well as future steps for international collaboration. The online event is open to all types of audiences who are interested in the engineering landscape and collaborations in Asia and the Pacific.

We will have the opportunity to hear from several speakers, specialists in the fields of engineering education, engineering value chain and Open Engineering and sustainable development. You will be able to ask your questions and learn about the latest regional trends and become familiar with the platforms that our partners offer in Asia and the Pacific.
