Chair of the Arab Science and Technology Advisory Group (Arab-STAG) for Disaster Risk Reduction of the UNDRR. He is also the Managing Editor of the Lebanese Science Journal (LSJ). Dr. Abdallah authored and co-authored over 80 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals, and conference proceedings.

Are institutional, systemic and individual capacities strong enough to address natural hazards risks during and post natural hazard events?
Do we have an enabling environment which ensure well-rounded communities ready to address natural hazards risks?
Are we fulfilling international policies requirements to save lives and properties of people at all levels?
