It is within the context of the Banjul Forum 2017 Action Plan that UNESCO and its partners plan to support the organization of a third Regional Forum, from 2 to 4 October 2019, in order to better assess the level of involvement of young women and men in national processes of democratization, governance of national reconciliation and the construction of a social environment conducive to a culture of peace. One of the objectives will also be to facilitate exchanges between them to find the ways and means, the modalities of action, the means of expression and the forms, the contents most appropriate for a better commitment.
