Request for written proposal for a work assignment with UNESCO
UNESCO is inviting written proposals from Individual Consultants for the work assignment described in attachment A - Terms of Reference. To enable the potential candidates to prepare a proposal for this assignment, please scroll down to download the following documents:

- Background material concerning the work assignment: Concept on ‘The Next 50: World Heritage as a source of resilience, humanity and innovation’ celebrating the landmark year of the 50th anniversary of the UNESCO 1972 Convention concerning the protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage
The written proposal should comprise:
- A Technical Proposal consisting of
- an up-to-date curriculum vitae, and
- an approach and methodology for the assignment, a work plan, and comments on the Terms of Reference if any (no more than 4 pages in total).
- The amount to be charged for the assignment should be quoted in USD only. Please show any travel costs separately
The proposal and any supporting documents must be in English.
UNESCO places great emphasis on ensuring that the objectives of the work assignment, as described in the Terms of Reference, are met. Accordingly, in evaluating the proposals for the assignment, attention will focus first and foremost on the technical elements. From those proposals deemed suitable in terms of the criteria in the Terms of Reference, UNESCO shall select the proposal that offers the Organisation the best value for money.
The proposal should be submitted by e-mail no later than the close of business (17:00, local time) on 14 March 2022. E-mail proposals should not exceed 5MB.

It is the individual’s responsibility to ensure that his/her proposal is received by the deadline.
