การประชุมรับฟังความคิดเห็นต่อร่างข้อเสนอนโยบายการฟื้นฟูมรดกภูมิปัญญาของชนเผ่าพื้นเมืองและผลการเก็บข้อมูลมรดกภูมิปัญญาแถบชายฝั่งอันดามัน
ยูเนสโกมีพันธกิจในระดับโลกด้านการส่งเสริมภูมิปัญญาและวัฒนธรรมพื้นเมือง ซึ่งรวมถึงการเป็นกำลังให้ชุมชนสามารถจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอย่างยั่งยืน ควบคู่ไปกับการพัฒนาความเป็นอยู่ในด้านต่าง ๆ
ยูเนสโกและสถาบันวิจัยสังคม จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้ดำเนินโครงการเพื่อศึกษามรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมแถบชายฝั่งอันดามันและร่างข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายและการปฏิบัติเพื่อการฟื้นฟูมรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมของชนเผ่าพื้นเมือง ตลอดปี พ.ศ. 2564 ที่ผ่านมา และเพื่อให้ร่างข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายและการปฏิบัตินี้สะท้อนเจตคติและนำไปสู่การแก้ไขปัญหาที่ครอบคลุม ยูเนสโกและสถาบันวิจัยสังคม จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ร่วมกับมูลนิธิเพื่อการประสานความร่วมมือชนเผ่าพื้นเมืองเอเชีย (AIPP) และศูนย์มานุษยวิทยาสิรินธร (องค์การมหาชน) จึงจะจัดการประชุมแสดงความคิดเห็นขึ้นในวันจันทร์ที่ 21 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2565 (การประชุมนี้จัดขึ้นเป็นภาษาไทย)

Consultation Meeting on a Draft Policy Proposal to Revitalize Indigenous People’s Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and Inventorying Results of ICH of the Andaman Coast
UNESCO has been working globally in promoting indigenous knowledge and culture, including for strengthening sustainable natural resource management as well as sustainable development in general.
In Thailand, UNESCO is working throughout 2021 with Chulalongkorn University Social Research Institute (CUSRI) on a project to inventory living heritage related to environmental management of the Andaman coast, and to draft a policy paper on ‘Cultural Revitalization of Indigenous Peoples through Cultural Zone Protection Planning and Collection of Indigenous Knowledge and Culture in Thailand’.
To ensure that the draft policy paper reflects understanding of all stakeholders and leads to comprehensive solutions, UNESCO and CUSRI, with support from Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact and HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre (SAC), are organizing a consultation meeting on Monday, 21 March to present the draft policy proposal and the inventory result of environment-related living heritage of the Andaman coast, with the purpose of gathering feedback from various stakeholders in Thailand.
