    -

    Parent Sector: Field Office
    Duty Station: Bangkok
    Job Family: Education
    Type of contract: Non Staff
Duration of contract: From 1 to 6 months
    Recruitment open to: External candidates
Application Deadline (Midnight Bangkok Time): 21-Mar-2022

In line with UNESCO’s approach, the purpose of the mid-term evaluation is to assess and understand the results achieved so far and the quality and adequacy of implementation modalities of the KFIT Higher Education Project from 2019-2021, as well as to identify areas and strategies for improvement going forward. The focus of the mid-term evaluation is to assess the relevance, coherence and efficiency of the project (see below). The final evaluation from the previous KFIT project conducted in 2019 will be considered as a reference to assess the value and achievements of the project.

In pursuit of the main evaluation purposes, indicated above, the UNESCO project staff is expected to collect data, draw conclusions, formulate lessons learnt and articulate recommendations based on its assessment and analysis. It should provide evidence about the key achievements and added value of the KFIT Higher Education Project and provide evidence of contributions it is making to the SDGs and, in particular, but not only, SDG4 and other relevant frameworks on qualifications, guides and ratifications. The evaluation will adopt both a retrospective and a forward-looking perspective with action-oriented recommendations formulated on the basis of substantive findings.
