Vera Michalski-Hoffmann was appointed UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador in October 2016, in light of her commitment to the publishing community, her support for literary creation and the practice of reading, particularly through activities carried out by the Jan Michalski Foundation.
As UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Ms Michalski-Hoffmann supports UNESCO's actions in the field of books and reading, particularly in the context of the celebration of World Book and Copyright Day and the World Book Capital Program.
