Susana RINALDI

The famous tango singer and actress Susana Rinaldi was designated UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador in July 1992, in light of her efforts to promote UNESCO's programs for a culture of peace.

In her capacity as a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Ms Rinaldi gave a concert in April 1995 in Buenos Aires, in the framework of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the United Nations and UNESCO, for the benefit of UNESCO project "Street Children".

Very committed to respecting the rights of artists, Ms Rinaldi, in collaboration with the Spanish National Commission for UNESCO and the Uruguayan Society of Actors, contributed to the creation of the Casa de Actores, a retirement home for impoverished actors.
