On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (25 November), the Division for Gender Equality held an Orange Zone in Headquarters on Friday, 24 November to raise awareness and to distribute material related to violence against women migrants and refugees, the theme of the year.

Throughout the day, badges, informative postcards, bookmarks and UNESCO publications were distributed to all staff and visitors. The Division also set up a special photobooth for our social media campaign so everyone could mark the day with key messages.

We thank all of those at HQ who participated and Field Offices for their enthusiastic remote participation.
