International Expert Workshop on the World Heritage Convention and Indigenous Peoples

20-21 September 2012

The Danish Agency for Culture is organizing an international expert workshop on the World Heritage Convention and Indigenous Peoples under the theme "How to ensure that the implementation of the World Heritage Convention is consistent with the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples" that will take place in The Danish Agency for Culture H.C. (Andersens Boulevard 2, Copenhagen, Denmark) September 20-21, 2012.

The Expert Workshop, adressed to experts on Indigenous Peoples issues, is meant to enable a constructive dialogue related to the issues brought forward by indigenous peoples, with a view to recommending appropriate changes to the current procedures and Operational Guidelines.
