Our Place

Since 2006, Our Place supports the World Heritage Centre in promoting the World Heritage Convention. Through the Our Place World Heritage project, the New Zeeland based company provides UNESCO with outstanding photographs for the World Heritage Centre website galleries, publications and exhbitions.

Documenting cultural and natural world heritage properties around the world with integrity and excellence is at the core of this project. Capturing the Outstanding Universal Value in all shapes of the sites as well as the human dimension linked to it, is the mandate of the team of international photographers asigned for the Our Place World Heritage project.

As photography, with its proven ability to communicate across cultural and geographical boundaries, is an ideal medium to promote worldwide the World Heritage Convention, Our Place is currently developing an official World Heritage photographic database.
