How does this project contribute to the implementation of the 2005 Convention?

  • Reinforces job creation and entrepreneurship - The project will empower Guinea’s cultural entrepreneurs in the audiovisual, fashion and design sectors by providing training and creating a platform to showcase their products.
  • Creates new business models for the cultural and creative industry - The project will develop a digital platform to promote cultural entrepreneurship in Guinea. The platform will present the results of the study conducted in the audiovisual, fashion and design sectors, offer an e-learning space and promote the contents of cultural entrepreneurs and creators.

  • Map the ecosystem of the audiovisual, fashion and design sectors in Guinea.
  • Elaborate and launch the digital platform Kirah Média to promote cultural entrepreneurship in Guinea.
  • Create a branch in Labé as a workspace and as an incubator for the artists in the audiovisual, fashion and design sectors.
  • Implement a 14-month incubation programmes for 10 entrepreneurs.
  • Provide seed funding for 3 entrepreneurs who completed the incubation programme.
