Palestinian artist Mirna Bamieh will present an overview of her work and research; how she employs storytelling, photography, performance, and other mediums to investigate the politics of disappearance, culture, memory, and identity. Following her talk, Yazan Ashqar will join her in a conversation that takes her exhibited work as a point of departure to discuss her artistic practice within the broader context of the art world.

بإطلاق موقع "أرشيف المتحف الفلسطيني الرقمي" الذي يضم أكثر من ١٠٠ ألف مادة جُمعت من أفراد ومؤسّسات من مختلف مناطق فلسطين التاريخية ولبنان والأردن.

Today we celebrate with the Palestinian Museum the launch of the Palestinian Museum Digital Archive website, which includes more than 100,000 materials, collected from individuals and institutions from different regions of historical Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan.

مداخلات وحوارات وتأملات عقدت على نطاق محلي لتقويض وتحويل المنظومات والتفاهمات الخاصة بالقضايا الثلاثة الأكثر إلحاحاً في الأردن اليوم؛ السياسة المائية والإيكولوجيا الزراعية وممارسات البناء الاستخراجية.

يمكنكم زيارة المعرض واستكشاف الأعمال الفنية المشاركة فيه من السبت إلى الخميس، من ١١ صباحا وحتى ٧ مساء.

“Re-rooting” is a group exhibition of projects that highlight interventions, dialogues, and reflections, conducted at a local scale, that subvert and transform systems and pre-conditioned understandings of the three most pressing concerns in Jordan today; water politics, agro-ecology, and extractive building practices.

Visit the exhibition and explore the work of the participating artists from Saturday to Thursday, 11 am – 7 pm.

ابتداء من اليوم السبت ولغاية الخميس من كل أسبوع، من الساعة ١١ صباحا وحتى ٧ مساء. 

يعمل المعرض كمجمِّع للأصوات المحلية الجماعية، ويعرض تدخلات واقعية بالإضافة إلى أعمال تخمينية وتأملية من قبل فنانين وعلماء أنثروبولوجيا وطهاة ومصممين ومزارعين وجامعي الغذاء البري وخبازين وخبراء تغذية، وكذلك مصوري وصناع الأفلام الذين يضعون الممارسة الفنية في صميم ما يفعلونه.
