On the occasion of the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee, the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage will be holding a side-event: Third Cycle of Periodic Reporting Exercise, Collaborative Implementation in Arab States Region.

During the event, there will be an overview of the implementation of Periodic Reporting in the Africa region. In addition, more light will be thrown on the Periodic Reporting collaborative work between the ARC-WH and the WHC, as well as on the fundamentals of the Exercise and the Implementation Plan that has been elaborated with several Arab States stakeholders in preparation of the inception of the Third Cycle of Periodic Repoting Exercise in Arab States region (2018-2019).
Live interpretations will be provided in English and Arabic.
The presentation will follow a session of discussion on this important statutory requirement of the World Heritage Convention.
