5 July 2014 is the deadline for the 1st Public Call for Submissions from the Lucio Costa Centre, for the purpose of selecting previously unpublished and individual articles, in Portuguese or Spanish, about “the construction of the Cultural and Natural Heritage field, and the contemporary practices of preservation in the Portuguese and Spanish-speaking countries of South America, Africa and Asia”.

National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN), through the Regional Centre of Formation in Management of the Cultural and Natural Heritage - Center Lucio Costa - CLC, Category II Centre under the auspices of the UNESCO, announces the Public Call for Submissions of unpublished and individual articles, in Portuguese or Spanish, for publication purposes, on the topic “the construction of the cultural and natural heritage field, and the contemporary practices of preservation in the Portuguese or Spanish-speaking countries of South America, Africa and Asia”.

The selection of articles aims to bring together information about the conservation, education and management of the Cultural and Natural Heritage in the region formed by the official Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries of South America (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela), Africa (Angola, Cabo Verde, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique and Sao Tome and Principe) and Asia (East-timer).
