The project Reforzando el conocimiento ancestral (Strengthening Ancestral Knowledge) is a citizen movement launched by Geo Indígena. This association of local people, men and women from different social backgrounds, responds to the need for demarcation and mapping of indigenous collective lands and territories in Panama.

The aim of this project is to make information accessible to people who are disconnected from the world so that they can defend their rights. Such as indigenous communities without access to public services in the Darien region, the Tuira River basin, the Balsa River and the Jaque River. It consists of creating a virtual library that will help these communities to obtain detailed information on environmental, land tenure and human rights issues without having to leave their territory or needing internet access.
