Toolbox of practices and program ideas

Join

This toolbox supports the fulfilment of disability rights by providing key strategies addressing infrastructure accessibility, public awareness, and economic participation. Developed following a pilot on disability-inclusive participatory data collection and management by UNESCO and Kota Kota Foundation, this document offers a number of solutions that allow persons with disabilities to empower themselves.

The Toolbox of Practices and Program Ideas is developed based on disability case studies in Banjarmasin, but it is also applicable and adaptable to other cities. Through empowerment and ensuring accessibility, cities can be made more inclusive for all.
