16/03/2022

Full stop. The beginning of the first line of our new notebook.

Last year, with all its happy and sad moments, with its opportunities and challenges, came to an end.

Now, with the arrival of the spring, the renewal of the nature and the beginning of the New Year on March 21, we hope for a better year for all of us filled with solidarity, peace and dialogue among nations as is the message of Nowruz, inscribed by 12 countries (Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

In UNESCO, we will continue our endeavors to respond to the major challenges of our time within our mandate to build fairer and more inclusive societies, and we sincerely thank you for supporting us during the past year in our efforts.

Nowruz Mobaarak!
