Valentin is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Munich (LMU) and the ifo Institute and I will complete my degree this summer. In my research, I use regional variation to answer policy-relevant research questions, with a particular focus on digital infrastructure in Sub-Saharan Africa. I am presenting work on the effects of early Internet on local economic growth.
