Can I visit UNESCO Headquarters?

Visits can be organized for the general public. Please contact unesco@cultival.fr to book a tour.

If you are affiliated to UNESCO (UNESCO Clubs, UNESCO Chairs, Associated Schools, National Commissions, Permanent Delegations, NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO), please contact visits@unesco.org.

Can I attend events organized in UNESCO Headquarters?

UNESCO organizes and hosts cultural events at Paris Headquarters as well as online. To be informed of upcoming events, you can register to the newsletter and follow UNESCO House on Facebook and Instagram#maisondelunesco.

Where can I find the resources produced by UNESCO?

Most publications are available in several languages and free of charge in UNESDOC.

To obtain printed publications as well as stamps, coins and other UNESCO-related gifts, you can visit the bookshop at UNESCO’s Headquarters in Paris or purchase online at UNESCO Publishing.

Where can I find photos and videos on UNESCO’s fields of action?

Many photos, videos and audio recordings are made available by UNESCO’s Multimedia services.

Where can I find statistics on UNESCO’s working subjects?

UNESCO's Institute for Statistics (UIS) provides worldwide statistics on education, science and technology, culture and communication.

Is UNESCO Library open to the general public?

UNESCO Library is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 17:00 p.m. by appointment only.

Library services are provided remotely. Please send your questions to library@unesco.org.

Can I consult UNESCO's Archives?

UNESCO Archives are open for archival research and consultation by appointment only, Monday to Friday, from 14:00pm to 17:30pm. Contact: archives@unesco.org.

Can I apply for an internship?

The UNESCO Internship Programme offers you pratical work in a multicultural environment. The UNESCO Volunteer Programme offers opportunities to contribute to a wide range of UNESCO programmes. You can visit the dedicated page for more information.

How can I obtain a fellowship from UNESCO to pursue my studies?

UNESCO's fellowship programme grants fellowhips for students in the Organization's fields of action.

Can UNESCO financially support my project?

Although UNESCO is not a funding agency, some projects can obtain financial support under UNESCO's Participation Programme, designed to provide direct assistance to initiatives undertaken by Member States in the Organization's fields of competence. All applications should be submitted through the National Commission of the country where the organization requesting support is based.

Am I allowed to use UNESCO's logo?

The name, acronym and logo of UNESCO are the intellectual property of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. No individual or organization can use them without prior written authorization from UNESCO. Please contact logo@unesco.org for more information.

How can I obtain UNESCO's patronage for my project?

UNESCO can morally endorse under patronage an exceptional activity for which the Organization is neither financially nor legally responsible.
