© Annette Jalilova
Sculpture representing the Division for Gender Equality

The debate will explore success stories of women engineers from different cultures and identify women role-models.
It will also focus on the challenges and difficulties that women engineers face throughout their careers and voluntary work, and answer these questions: 1) how can we make engineering more attractive to young women? 2) how can we increase the number of women in engineering through concrete proposals?

Sixty women engineers from around the world will participate.
