27 January - Third Conversation on the Futures of Education in Latin America
Elisa Guerra, a member of the International Commission, is hosting a series of 5 conversations on the key areas developed in UNESCO’s Futures of Education Report and its implications for Latin American educational systems.
The next virtual Spanish-language conversation will take place on Thursday 27th January at 17.00 CST (UTC-6, México) and focus on the following sections of the Report:
- Chapter 5: The transformative work of teachers
- Chapter 6: Safeguarding and transforming schools
It will feature a panel of distinguished experts and teachers, including David Calderón, Eligio Salamanca, Joaquín Walker and Rosa Wolpert (UNESCO), as well as a student, Natalia Vargas, to make the voice of youth heard.
Registration is free and available here. The conversation will be broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube.
The organizers invite the submission of 1-minute video (at this link) that shares a concrete idea about the Futures of Education in your local context. Your video could be viewed and discussed during the virtual conversation.
