Brazil hosts event on indigenous knowledge on water management

In the framework of the celebrations of the International Year of Indigenous Languages 2019 and the International Day of the World's Indigenous People (09 August), takes place in Manaus (Brazil), the seminar "Conhecimento Indígena para a gestão integrada da água na América Latina e Caribe" (in free translation: Indigenous Knowledge for the integrated water management in America Latina and the Caribbean).

The event aims at identifying ways to strengthen the governance and the management of water in the basis of indigenous knowledge. It will happen on 08 and 09 August, 2019, from  9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Comfort Hotel Manaus (Avenida Mandi, 263, Distrito Industrial I, Manaus, AM, Brasil).
