Launching of UNESCO Chair celebrates the Environment Week

Chair on Oceans Sustinable Development is now part of the Programe UNITIWIN and it will be coordinated by institutes of the University of São Paulo.

Celebrating the World Environment Day (05 June) and the World Oceans Day (08 June), the activities of the UNESCO Chair on Ocean Sustainability were inaugurated with the event The Future of Oceans, that took place on 05 June, 2019, at the Auditorium of the Institute of Advanced Studies (IEA, in the Portuguese acronym), of the University of São Paulo (USP, in the Portuguese acronym), in São Paulo, Brazil.  The newest integrant of the international network is launched in the appropriate time to prepare the actions for the Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030).
