Inscription of Old Town of Regensburg with Stadtamhof on UNESCO’s World Heritage List

The official ceremony  to mark the inscription of the Old Town of Regensburg with Stadtamhof on the World Heritage List took place at the historical Reichssaal on 24 November 2007 in the presence of 300 invited guests. Thousands of local residents and tourists took part in celebrations including guided city tours, performances of music, theatre and historical dance illustrating stages in the history of the Old Town of Regensburg with Stadtamhof. Celebrations culminated in a spectacular fireworks display over the Danube River.
