The UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in the Arab States, Beirut, is organizing a closing event for the TERDAD YOUTH initiative on Global Citizenship Education through Arts, under UNESCO’s flagship initiative LiBeirut. Participating students will present various shows inspired by their collaboration with the TERDAD NGOs: Metropolis Cinema, Samandal Comics, Irtijal and Zoukak Theatre.

ZOUKAK THEATRE COMPANY | Flee, a play by Karim Chebli and Kathy Younes
Followed by a discussion with the audience and the students of the Beirut Annunciation Orthodox College and the Ecole Secondaire des Filles de la Charité, who took part in theatre activities

METROPOLIS CINEMA ASSOCIATION | Screening of 4 short films, produced and directed by the students of Makassed Khaled Bin Al Walid and Makassed Ali Bin Abi Taleb
Followed by a Q&A session with the students
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
SAMANDAL x IRTIJAL | Drawing and music concert (Concert Dessiné)
Rami Tannous, Carla Habib and Shakib Abu Hamdan will perform live drawing on the rhythm of music played by musicians Maysa Jallad, Farah Kaddour and Hani Manja, in collaboration with students from the Ecole des Trois Docteurs and Makassed Ali Bin Abi Talib College
The event is open to the participating schools of TERDAD Youth.
