Gender equality is a UNESCO Global Priority and a transversal subject addressed across every activity of the project "Empowering Local Radios with ICTs". Changes in radio programming can be noted as more programmes dedicated to women’s issues are being launched. Women’s voices are increasing in the radios, both as interviewees and interviewers.
