​​Dear National Coordinators,

We would like to warmly thank all those who shared the "Conversation with the Petit Prince" writing Contest" with their ASPnet members to inspire students to imagine, write and share their stories with Little Prince.

We have received some questions from on how to take part in this initiative and thus, we found it appropriate as a reminder to mobilize schools that have not yet participated and give you more information about the contest:

  • How to participate?
    • Write a story accompanied by illustrations when possible
  • Who can participate?
    • Everyone born after 1 January 1995
  • Where to submit the story and in which language?
  • How many words?
    • The story must not exceed 5000 characters (including spaces).
  • What is the deadline?
    • Entries can be submitted until 30 November 2020 midnight GMT
  • Why to participate?
    • Our partners will organize important events and rewarding with the participants through an official announcement of the competition results as follow:
      • Celebration with all the participants on the occasion of International Day of Education, 24 January 2021, as part of the #LearningPlanet Festival.
      • 60 finalists and 6 laureates will be selected by an international jury to be particularly honoured on International Day of Education 2021
      • From 22 to 24 January 2021, participating schools and other organizations will be invited to schedule local and/or online readings of the texts written by their students and/or members
      • The texts in 6 languages of the 60 finalists will be published in a digital collection entitled "Conversations with The Little Prince".
      • For the 6 laureates, an invitation to visit and discover the World Expo between October 2021 and April 2022 in Dubai

We hope to have our valuable members part of the winners and we count on you to engage your ASPnet students to share and submit the story they imagine with Little Prince.
