The Linné Collection

Documentary heritage submitted by Denmark and recommended for inclusion in the Memory of the World Register in 1997.

The Danish National Library of Science and Medicine contains a fabulous collection of books by and about Carl Linné and his pupils. 1735-. This collection is of about 2.000 items, on approximatively 100 m shelf. It is considered to be the fourth best Linné collection in the world.
