100 years of Architecture - Photography
The "Biblioteca Publica Piloto de Medellin para America Latina" (Medellin Pilot Public Library for Latin America) was created in 1952, by UNESCO and the Colombian Government. Its character is strongly patrimonial.

Bibliotheca Corviniana
The Bibliotheca Corviniana was the library of King Matthias in the second half of the 15th century. After the king’s death and during the Turkish occupation the collection has been dispersed. Today the remaining pieces of the collection are to be found in 50 libraries.
Basagic’s Collection of Islamic Manuscripts in the University Library of Bratislava
Basagic’s collection contains unique manuscripts and essential works of medieval Islamic scholarly literature and belles-lettres, spanning the interval from 12th to 19th century, and prints from two centuries, starting from 1729.
Catalogue of Arabic Manuscripts of the National Library of the Czech Republic
The collection of Arabic manuscripts held in the National Library of the Czech Republic contains 200 entries. It is a component of the Oriental manuscripts collection, especially Persian, Turkish, and Indian.
Chronicle of Council of Constance
The author of the Chronicle of Council of Constance (1414 - 1418) is Ulrich Riechental (1360's - 1436/1437), the scribe of the city of Constance. But he wrote his chronicle not before 1430's.
Dar Al-Kutub Manuscripts
The National Library and Archives of Egypt was established in 1870, due to the suggestion of Refa'a Al-Tahtawi (1801-1872) to buildup a library in Egypt under the supervision of Ali Mubarak. Valuable collections of books and manuscripts were gathered from different sources. A number of geometrical instruments and maps were also included. Dar Al-Kutub was inaugurated to the public on the 24th September 1870 AD.c.

Historical Collections of the Vilnius University Library
The Vilnius University Library was founded in 1570, and was based on the collections of Sigismund II, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, and of Georgius Albinius, suffragan to the Bishop of Vilnius.

Prague Manuscripts
A digitization programme was launched by the National Library in Prague, in co-operation with a private firm, Albertina Ltd. A demonstration CD-ROM was first published in 1993, featuring some of the most precious manuscripts and other documents in the historic collections of the National Library, with annotations in Czech, English and French.

Manuscripts of Kandilli Observatory
