Second Meeting of the Advisory Body

科学与技术咨询机构第二次会议于2001年4月15日在联合国教科文组织巴黎总部召开。

经过对影响水下文化遗产的重要因素的讨论，以及对水下考古情况进行了评估之后，咨询机构通过了以下决议和建议：

  • 提高开发和资源开采项目，渔民，潜水员和其他利益相关者对水下文化遗产的认识；
  • 协助绘制和盘点水下文化遗产，以便于制定预测模型；
  • 把水下文化遗产影响评估作为开发和资源开采项目的强制性先决条件，如果不符合要求，则实施制裁；
  • 建立禁钓保护区，并采取实物保护措施，以减轻钓鱼和拖网捕捞造成的损失；
  • 建立相匹配的国家机构，同时向这些国家机构提供研究和能力建设机制，并向其提供必要的资金以确保其正常运作。
