How to Use this Site

Access to unesco.int

The objective of the Member States Website is to improve communication between UNESCO and its Member States, notably the Permanent Delegations and National Commissions, by giving a privileged entry point to specific and sought after functions and content.

This website complements UNESCO’s already-existing Internet Portal (for the public at large) and the Intranet site (for the Secretariat members).

Most of the content of this website has open access. However, there are a limited number of services that are directly addressed to Member States, namely to Permanent Delegations and National Commissions, for which a log-in and a password are requested.

We hope the site will continue to evolve and be improved with additional content and functions that will emerge from your views, comments and feedback. You can email suggestions to: announcements.ERI(a)unesco.org.

How to request access to restricted content on unesco.int

Permanent Delegations

Members of Permanent Delegations having a UNESCO account, can use the same user name (if the e-mail account is dl.morocco@unesco-delegations.org, then the account to be used will be hq\dl_morocco) and password used to access the UNESCO e-mail.

Members of Permanent Delegations who do not have a UNESCO account, can request for access following the directives available at www.unesco.org/new/en/member-states/resources/website-toolkit/rules-for-e-mail/.

National Commissions

Members of National Commissions for UNESCO who were previously registered to the National Commissions database can use the same user name and password used to access the database.

Members of National Commissions for UNESCO who are not registered can request for access by e-mail at natcom(at)unesco.org.

In addition, in order to reinforce security and access control to its IT resources, as well as to facilitate the National Commissions’ access, UNESCO has created a generic user name for each National Commission. This account is linked to the main e-mail communicated by each National Commission, and the information related to it and the associated password has been communicated in June 2016.

These generic accounts enable the National Commissions to have access to most of the UNESCO applications.

If you want to receive a reminder with the user name and password, and/or to change the e-mail attached to the generic account, please inform us accordingly at natcom(at)unesco.org.

If you want to change your password, please connect to https://connect.unesco.org/pwdchange.

Should you have any questions related to the access, please contact the UNESCO's Support (HelpDesk) Services through telephone during standard working hours (Paris time) by dialing 11 or through e-mail: helpdesk(a)unesco.org.
