Overview

Biosphere reserves are sites intended to help raising environmental awareness. This workshop offers a space for sharing several initiatives dedicated to education on biodiversity, climate change and sustainable development, implemented in biosphere reserves all over the world. These initiatives provide examples of engaging youth of several ages - children, teenagers and university students - and illustrate how biosphere reserves can foster a sustainable living by directly targeting future generations. Additionally, we would like to discuss the possibility of implementing a MAB Youth Network and the organization of a first World MAB Youth Forum.
