Microscience Training Workshops in Liberia (2016)

Liberia (January 2016)

A Training of Trainers workshop on Microscience was held in Monrovia (Liberia) where a total of forty-nine secondary school science teachers were trained. Ms Romelle Horton ­– The Deputy Minister for Education – gave an introductory speech at the opening session. Participants carried out hands-on training in physics, chemistry, and biology using local products for the experiments. Microscience kits were provided by UNESCO Headquarters and special emphasis on the active learning methodology was given during the training.
