The Voice of Cambodian People - What Cambodian People think about media and press

On the occasion of the World Press Freedom Day, 3 May 2010, a short video has been produced to reflect the views of the local communities in Cambodia. Six Cambodian nationals from Phnom Penh, Chhnang province and Rattanakiri province were asked about their opinions on the media. Despite higher numbers of media agencies and wide access to information, some people felt they did not have access to all information, that media show only one side of the stories or deliver an exaggerated view. On the other hand, they still believed certain media agencies and considered news in general important.
