Context/Overview

The objective is to improve the cultural and creative citizenship and economic performance in Mozambique by guaranteeing the inclusion of men, youth and women from the informal sector within the mandatory social protection system. Specifically, it is intended to create a Status of the Professional Artist that includes the safeguard of the singularities of cultural professionals and the protection of their social and rights labour as well as identities. This will be done through a participatory process ensuring awareness contributions from all relevant stakeholders.
