Context/Overview:
The objectives are:
- To a promulgate a regulation from existing NCAC Act (2007) to operationalize the National Endowment Fund for Arts and Culture to enhance funding of artistic and cultural programmes for the betterment of the economic and social status of artists.
- To elaborate a Strategy for the Implementation of The Gambia Arts and Culture Policy (2018-2028).
- To create awareness for female artists on laws and texts to support their status and create a conducive context for creativity as well as inform on the status of women participation and contribution to the CCIs (survey).
- To strengthen the competitiveness of Gambian female artists and the cultural and creative industries through capacity building on entrepreneurial and marketing skills.
