Tojo Yharimanana Rakotomalala is a sociologist and international consultant in socio-economics. She graduated in Sociology at the University of Antananarivo, Madagascar. She is also a specialist in employment and research and a teacher at the University of Antananarivo. She is a writer, stage director and costume designer. She has more than 15 years of experience in social research, institutional support, skills development, and the formulation and evaluation of policies, strategies and projects. She has been a partnership coordinator and socio-cultural organization administrator for various projects in Africa. Her work touches on multiple fields of intervention, including employment, culture, communication, decentralization, municipal finances, education, training, and international trade. She has contributed to the development of national and international reports, including the Millennium Development Goals Report, the Human Development Report, and Madagascar’s 2005 Convention Quadrennial Periodic Report.
