Turn It Around Cards

Describe something you can learn in nature that you cannot learn in school
Tell leaders why climate education should be included in your learning today
Tell leaders what you want them to know (or remember) when they make decisions about your future

We invite young artists, writers, activists and thought leaders to reflect on these and other questions and contribute their artwork to a deck of flashcards.

Turn it Around! Flashcards for Education Futures is a learning tool for adults, made by youth, to reimagine approaches to education and people's relationships with nature and the living world during this time of climate crisis.

Rather than being designed by adults for children, these flashcards are designed by youth for education policymakers, politicians, and educators to challenge them to think, see, and act in new ways.

This project was developed by Arizona State University and Artists' Literacies Institute in partnership with the Open Society Foundations and UNESCO's Futures of Education initiative. Click here for more information.

Visit the Turn it Around Cards website to explore these flashcards and learn how to

create and submit your own!
