I condemn the killing of Antonio de la Cruz. This intolerable act of violence against a journalist and his family, against freedom of expression and freedom of information cannot be allowed to go unpunished. I therefore urge the authorities to spare no effort in investigating this case and bringing its perpetrators to justice.
