Higher Education

IIEP was present at the UNESCO World Higher Education Conference 2022 (18-22 May 2022)! Our latest research on higher education is now available to read.

Just released is the Policy Paper on Refugees’ Access to Higher Education in their Host Countries. It explores various inclusive policies and good practices which respond to the challenges refugees face in accessing higher education. National and institutional policy-makers: see the useful one-page summary on how to move forward. There are also 15 recommendations which argue for an ‘equal opportunity’ approach to policies.

Also discover IIEP’s latest research on flexible learning pathways: four policy briefs which explain the main principles and findings of the wide-ranging project. They treat subjects such as equity in entry pathways, diversifying progression pathways, transition to the labour market, and supportive governance. Access them below.

1/ Increasing equity through diverse entry pathways into higher education

2/ Diversifying progression pathways in higher education for greater student choice

3/ Strengthening pathways for learners' transition to the labour market

4/ Enabling flexible learning pathways through supportive governance
